Well, maybe the phrase "lip item" is a little unfortunate, but the offer is pretty good: print the coupon, and get a free, er, lip gloss or lipstick of your choice with any purchase. The coupon is good now through Oct. 21, and their lip stuff is usually around $8 a pop, so it's a nice deal if you're in need of smelly stuff!

I always liked their tingly mint lip balm, but the mango mimosa and lemon ones sound pretty great too...

You can also enter a promo code if you're shopping online, which might be the easier way to go if you're, you know, not actually a student.

Bath & Body Works is having a smelly sale on their holiday scented bath products, up to 75% off! Plus, you can get an extry 20% off by using promo code INSTYLE20, or so I hear. I can't imagine why the Red Vines scented lotion didn't fly off the shelves this Xmas, but this tinted lip-balm quad compact is a steal for $6.

Oh, they are crafty, these mall shops, trying one tactic and another to lure you into the stores this Black Friday weekend. Like Bath & Body Works, which wants to offer you a free item of your choice with any $10 purchase... in-store only.

Don't fall for it! Stay cozy at home in your pajamas this weekend, gnawing on a turkey leg and shopping online, the way the good Lord intended.
