I know, this seems like a kind of roundabout freebie, and I'm not sure why Jamba Juice cares if you try Popchips or not. But whatever! Become a fan of Jamba Juice on Facebook and you can print a coupon for a free bag of Popchips from any JJ location (I'm thinking it's probably a small individual-size bag).

Maybe they're thinking that you'll feel compelled to buy a $4 smoothie out of guilty freebie shame. They don't know us very well, do they?

Yep, it's another Facebook freebie! Become a fan of PopChips and then click on the Coupon tab, and it will take you to a coupon page where you can print the BOGO PopChips coupon. Be sure to have your printer on and ready, because free popped chips wait for no man.

I know we all got burned a few weeks ago with that "pop it forward" promotion that, supposedly, was only meant to go out to a few special people and they had no idea how it could possibly have gone viral, blah blah. But I think this one is on the up-and-up, so give it a try and dazzle your Valentine with healthy potato snacks this weekend.

Having signed up for the PopChips sample pack offer that I posted earlier this week, I was a tad surprised to see this email today from PopChips:

The use of the scare quotes around "mistakenly" seems a tad passive-aggressive, but I suppose whoever sent this email is doing a fair amount of damage control today, so a little 'tude is understandable. In any case, if you signed up for that offer, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think you'll be seeing a magical PopChips gift basket anytime soon.

PopChips has a new "Pop It Forward" campaign, in which they apparently expect that you'll selflessly nominate three of your friends to receive free PopChips sample snack packs. I don't know anybody that generous, but I do know that if you make a SNACK PACT with three of your other friends, and you each put the other people's names, you'll all get... uhh... eight packs each? I don't know, I wasn't a CHIP MATH major. Puh-lease.

Have you had PopChips yet? They are delicious, somewhat-good-for-you potato chips that are not fried, nor even baked, but popped. They are pleasingly flavorful and crunchy. The only downside is, they're kind of expensive and sometimes hard to find.
