Free Golf Digest pedometer.

This pedometer freebie from Golf Digest comes at the perfect time, because I've been trying to get my hands on one for the past few weeks. I was hoping our office health fair would have them as giveaways, but no such luck. I bought one at the dollar store, but that worked about as well as you'd think.

This free one might even be accurate, though, since it's part of a contest where you can win prizes by tracking the number of steps you take. A free pedometer is prize enough for me, though.

3 free Atkins bars.

Wow, this one was so popular yesterday that I couldn't get it to load, but it looks like things have calmed down a bit now! Sign up for your free Atkins Quick Start Kit, which includes 3 free Atkins bars and some coupons.

My favorite part of the form is the check box that says, "No! I do not want the free kit and bars." I guess that's for people who just really like burning calories by typing their personal information.

Free Neosporin Essentials trial pack w/rebate.

This week, you can get a free Neosporin Essentials trial pack (up to $14.99) if you're willing to do a mail-in rebate. Make your purchase before March 26, then send in the form, receipt, and UPC by April 15, and you'll get the purchase price back.

It says "while supplies last," so get your rebate off in the mail ASAP!

Free sample of Allergease lozenges.

Seeing as it's currently snowing outside my window, I think I'm safe from allergies for a little while longer... but they're right around the corner, I know. How about a free sample of Allergease lozenges to have on hand for when hay fever strikes? Click on "Get a Free Sample" to sign up for yours.

The only thing I don't care for is the name: Allergease. Every time I look at it, it looks like it says "Allergrease," which sounds a lot less appealing.

Walmart: Free sample of Life Choice energy bars.

Walmart is usually pretty generous with the free samples, but I haven't seen one in a while. At last! Get your free sample of Life Choice energy bars when you fill out the form. It sounds like a big commitment to call an energy bar a "life choice," but hey, whatever you need to make your to-do list look complete...

Free 7-day pass to 24-hour Fitness.

Feeling regret over all that holiday bingeing? Turn over a new leaf in 2012 with a free 7-day pass to 24-hour Fitness. It's good for free classes as well as the regular gym, so you can get started on the most-calories-burned-in-one-week world record.

Happy New Year!

Arm & Hammer Neti Pot kit free after rebate.

The season of sinus congestion is upon us, and what better time to enjoy a free Neti pot kit? Just send in the rebate form along with your receipt (with price circled) and the UPC code from the box, and you'll get your purchase price back up to $14.99.

Um... have fun?

Free sample of Disney gummy vitamins.

Gummy vitamins are very popular in our household among the vague-desire-to-be-healthy-meets-vague-aversion-to-taking-pills demographic (100% of the total market). So these Disney character gummy vitamins should be just the ticket. Who wouldn't want to chew their favorite Disney princess to death?

Facebook: Get a free CLIF Mojo bar.

Get a free sample of the new CLIF Mojo bars. Well, Mojo bars aren't new (I love the sweet & salty pretzel one), but they have some new flavors: Dipped S'mores, chocolate coconut, and white chocolate macadamia. Be one of the first 5,000 to sign up and you'll get to try one of them free.

Free sample of Powerbar Protein Bites.

Well, these look like delicious chocolatey nuggets rolled in a nutty coating, but given that it's made by Powerbar, I have my doubts. Once words such as "whey, soy, and casein" start cropping up, the tasty-factor starts plummeting pretty fast.

If you're curious and you like protein balls, though, give 'em a whirl!

Free HealthiDent pet treats sample.

It must be pet freebie day today, because here's an offer for a free sample of HealthiDent pet treats! I have to admit, those do look pretty fun, with their nifty star shape and their fresh spearmint flavor. Do you think my nonexistent dog would mind if I tried one?

Tanga: Shape subscription for $3.

Tanga's back with another hot deal on a magazine subscription... just $3 buys you a whole year of Shape magazine. Use top-secret promo code SHAPE to get the discount when you check out. Granted, an entire magazine devoted to health issues may not sound all that great, but a friend of mine has been a long-time subscriber and she swears by it, so who knows, maybe just signing up for it will make you lose 10 lbs. Couldn't hurt to try!

Seattle: Free Zumba classes in February.

I've been hearing a lot about this Zumba craze that's sweeping the nation, and it kind of sounds fun. An hour-long dance party that magically burns away the calories? Sign me up!

Of course, all these exercise class memberships can be expensive, and it's a big commitment when you don't even know that you'll like it. So I was happy to see that Seattle's Dance Underground is offering free Zumba classes every Saturday in February. No registration is required — it's a drop-in class, first come first serve. They just ask that you fill out a health release form and bring it in to expedite things. JAZZ HANDS!

Tanga: 1-year Flex subscription for $3.

I have to say, I'm not entirely sure why Tanga is so coy with their magazine subscription deals. It's not like anyone is going to go to the site and say, "Awesome, I was just thinking how much I wanted to pay $40 for a subscription to FLEX magazine!" and then be all surprised when they discover a promo code that makes it $3. I just don't get it.

Anyway, you can get a 1-year subscription to FLEX magazine for $3 using promo code FLEX. You can buy up to a 3-year subscription at that rate, if that's something you're in to.

Free Slimfast Peanut Butter Crunch Time bar.

It's Peanut Butter Crunch Time!
It's Peanut Butter Crunch Time!
It's Peanut Butter Crunch Time!
It's Peanut Butter Crunch Time!
All right, I'll stop. But it really is Peanut Butter Crunch Time, courtesy of this Sam's Club free sample. Normally you have to be a Sam's Club member to get these, but this time it's open to everybody, or at least everybody who gobbled 500 lbs of food over the holidays, like me.

PEANUT BUTTER CRUNCH WITH A BASEBALL BAT!

Free cup of Yoplait yogurt... unless you live in CA.

Yoplait is running an offer for a free yogurt coupon - unless you are unlucky enough to live in CA, where evidently state dairy laws prohibit them sending a coupon for a dairy product. Who knew? I'm glad that doesn't apply to Washington, since I've received coupons for free goat cheese and Brie in my time.

If you live in CA, however, they will send you "an alternate offer," so you could give it a try and see what you get.

Free sample of Natural Dynamix gummy vitamins.

Gummy vitamins are a deliciously painless way to get your daily vitamin supplements in, and now you can try them out free from Natural Dynamix. Choose from a multi-vitamin or a fiber vitamin when you fill out the form.

And don't believe the label that says they're for kids... they're totally for grownups too.

Free sample of Vaseline Intensive Rescue lotion.

Winter weather is tough on the skin. We've had snow here for a couple of days and already my hands are starting to get chapped and dry! So I think I'll be requesting this free sample of Vaseline Intensive Rescue lotion. Help me, Vaseline, you're my only hope!

Facebook: Free "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" book.

Here's an intriguing freebie: Paula Begoun, of Paula's Choice (that makeup brand), is offering free copies of her new book, Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me. Just "like" them on Facebook and you'll see a form to fill out to request your copy. FREE!

(Thanks, Sarah!)

Free Tylenol Sleep Solution kit.

Now here's a freebie I could really use, since I seem to have incredible trouble making myself go to bed at a decent hour and get a full night of quality sleep. The Tylenol Sleep Solution Kit is yours for the asking, and includes:

• Sleep guide and journal featuring practical tips for better sleep
• Satin sleep mask to help block out intrusive light

• CD of soothing sounds

• Coupons worth up to $12

• Sample of JOHNSON'S® Melt Away Stress Lavender & Chamomile Lotion

I'm a little surprised that it doesn't contain any, you know, Tylenol, but I guess they're counting on you being so grateful for your newfound sleep that you run out and purchase some painkillers?
