I've been drinking a lot of tea during these chilly winter months, so any source of free tea is welcome news for me. Get a free sample of Lipton Green Tea when you "like" them on Facebook and sign up.
Now, how about a free cookie sample to go with it?

Facebook: Free Celestial Seasonings Wellness Tea sample.
Aha, there you have it! My theory is confirmed: freebies like to travel in packs. So here's another free Facebook tea sample, this one for Celestial Seasonings Wellness Tea.
Now can we please have a free coffee one?

Facebook: Free sample of Lipton Green Tea with Superfruit.
The holidays may be over, but winter is still here, which means we've got several months of hot-beverage weather ahead of us. Settle in with a nice, free cup of Lipton Green Tea with Superfruit when you like them on Facebook.
Freebies seem to come in themed groups, so maybe there's a coffee offer floating around out there today too? Fingers crossed!

Free Republic of Tea samples.
It's officially tea time (says the lady with the stuffy nose and sore throat)! Start things off with some free Republic of Tea samples. Yes, you'll be signing up for their e-newsletter, so be sure to give them your very finest, and not at all junk, email account.

Free Twinings tea samples.
Care for a spot of tea, guv? Pick up to three free samples of Twinings tea! My personal favorite is Lady Grey, but this may be a perfect opportunity to try out some new flavors. What will you be sipping on?

April 22: Free coffee or tea at Starbucks for Earth Day.
No, you didn't read that date wrong... I just really, really like super-advance warning! On April 22, aka Earth Day, you can get a free coffee or tea at Starbucks when you bring in your own travel mug. Reduce, reuse, recaffeinate!
(The blurb is about halfway down on the right side, FYI)

Borders: 33% off one item, 40% off CDs, and free coffee or tea.
The Borders coupons are flying thick and fast! Hopefully I can keep track of them all here:
- 33% off any one item
- 40% off up to 2 CDs (in-store only)
- And that free coffee or tea coupon is still going

Borders: Free small coffee or tea.
Few things fill me with a greater sense of freebie well-being than presenting my 40% off coupon at Borders and then marching over to their in-store cafe for a free cup or coffee or tea. You can make that dream come true, or at least half of it, with the free drink coupon good through Dec. 12. But I'm quite sure that a 40% off coupon will come out between now and then, if you're patient.
(Requires free Borders Rewards membership, so don't get sucked into paying for that $20/year one!)

Borders: Free small coffee or tea.
Ah, fall, when a young reader's heart turns to thoughts of cozying up indoors with a novel and a hot beverage. Borders is only too happy to encourage and enable your reading/lounging habit, starting with a coupon for a free small coffee or tea, good through Nov. 11 (Borders Rewards membership is required, but it's free).
If that wasn't enough, there's also a 40% off coupon good through Nov. 1, which means if you take your coupons to Borders before then, you can enjoy quite a little spree of free. I've had my eye on this bundt cake cookbook
and now might be the perfect time to indulge... because it's also baking season, of course.

Honest Tea: Coupon for BOGO bottles, print it today!
Normally the whole "it's April 1, but this isn't a joke" line kind of annoys me, but I guess Honest Tea's name makes it sort of relevant. Anyway, they're doing a BOGO promotion on their bottled tea drinks. Buy any 16.9 fl. oz. bottle of Honest Tea or Honest Ade and get one FREE! Coupon must be downloaded by 11:59 PST, but you have a month to use it (expires 4/30/2010).
I'm not a big buyer of bottled convenience drinks (ask me about my feelings on the value of bottled water), but one time someone gave me an Honest Tea, so I actually have tried this brand. I thought it was pretty awful, but if you like organic hippie tea that's sweetened with only honey, maybe this is your bag.

Free Lipton Tea sample pack.
I drink lots and lots and lots of tea, so I'm always glad to see a tea-related freebie pop up like this one from Lipton. Get a free 4-pack sample of your choice of green tea flavors: Mixed Berry Green Tea, Orange, Passionfruit & Jasmine Green Tea, Natural Decaffeinated Honey Lemon Green Tea, or Green Tea with Citrus.
The link is there, but it takes a minute - watch the banner ad at the top scroll through its little slideshow, and the very last image says "Get a free sample." Click that and it takes you through to the sign-up page.

Facebook: Free box of Revolution tea.
Here's another Facebook offer: become a fan of Pilot Travel Centers, whatever that is, and you'll be able to print out a coupon for a free box of Revolution Tea (good at Pilot Food Marts and Travel Centers; click here for a locator). I've tried Revolution Tea before - it's one of those fancy-schmancy brands with crazy exotic flavors, but they're pretty good, especially when they're free. And the way my week is going, I need to start eating teabags for lunch and absorbing the caffeine directly.

Send an e-card, free Yogi Tea samples to a friend.
Yogi Tea wants you to share the hot, steamy tea love with someone special. Sign up to send an e-card to a tea-o-phile friend, and they'll receive your personalized greeting plus instructions on how to sign up for their two free tea samples. You can choose from about eight different hippie-sounding flavors, so give one to your favorite earth mother.

Free hot beverage at 7-11.
7-11 has this coupon running for a free coffee, cappucino, hot chocolate, or tea, but apparently some users have been complaining that the less-than-service-oriented employees of 7-11 have been reluctant or grumpy about honoring it.
If you're dubious about the PDF, you can get your own free drink coupon anytime by going to http://www.the711club.com/ and playing the slightly creepy "hot Brazilian" game there. FYI, I did succeed in taking the guy in the pirate shirt home, so hands off the puffy sleeves, they're mine.

Call for your free box of Lipton tea.
Remember before there was the Internets, when people would actually "call" companies using a "telephone"? Me neither, but you can try out this quaint tradition AND get a box of free Lipton tea if you're feeling nostalgic.
Call Lipton to request your free box of Lipton Tea at 1-888-435-3639. It's an automated call, and you'll have to submit your birthdate, address, and phone number in order to receive your coupon for a free box of Lipton Tea in 6 to 8 weeks. I still think it's weird that they don't just have a website, but maybe it's a new marketing initiative from their Chief Grandma Officer.

Free Teasta tea samples.
Check out this offer for some free Teasta samples... you can choose up to two flavors and get free shipping with promo code TRYME. The flavors sound pretty good, like Holiday Mint, Chocolate Mint Rooibos, Earl Grey Cream, Tropical Green, and Papaya Ginger. I went for Chocolate Mint Rooibos and Earl Grey Cream myself... which ones did you pick? Leave it in the comments!
