The Veterans' Day freebies just keep rolling in... this one is for the Outback Steakhouse, where veterans and active servicemembers will receive a free Bloomin' Onion and beverage (probably not an alcoholic one, alas) by showing their military ID.
If I were a veteran, I'd just spend the whole day rolling from restaurant to restaurant, claiming my free Applebee's meals and Krispy Kreme doughnuts and so on, but unfortunately, I don't get the day off. See, I make sacrifices for my country too.
