I knew this day would come, and here we are: Entertainment.com is desperate to unload their 2009 books to make room for the 2010 edition, so they're selling them at 2 for $10. THIS IS A BARGAIN, PEOPLE. You know I talk about these all the time, what a great deal they are, how using just one BOGO museum/zoo admission pays for the $15 book, blah blah blah, but this is an even better price!
You say you already have one? But consider this! If there's just one coupon in there that you know you'll use - say, a BOGO entree at a restaurant you frequent - you've paid back the cost of the book instantly, and you get another set of the coupons you've already used. At two for $10, they're cheap enough to give to friends or family who have not been shown the light yet. Or, if you're planning a fall trip to a different city, you can order books for THAT city and save on sightseeing, restaurants, attractions, etc., there! Is that enough reasons for ya?
Just remember, these books expire on November 1, 2009, along with all the coupons in them. And you can mix and match different city books. Standard shipping is $1.98 and can be leisurely... that's why they try to get you to pay for expedited shipping. But it's the beginning of August now, so even if it took two weeks for your books to get to you, you'll still have all of September and October to save your head off.
I swear, I'm not getting kickbacks from them, though I probably should be. I just think these are a genuinely good deal even if you only use 5% of the coupons in there, and at this price, why the heck not?

It's true that we have abused the hell out of your 2009 book already. What a bargain!
ReplyDeleteI'm tempted to get a PDX one just to see what's in there!
