Amazon's magazine deal of the week is a one-year subscription to Maxim for $3.99. But wait - it's an auto-renewal subscription, meaning that they'll automatically renew your subscription at the end of the year (presumably not at $3.99, either) unless you tell them not to.
If you don't mind taking the extra step of going to your subscription manager page and unchecking the auto-renewal box, then go nuts! I just don't want you getting tricked into paying full price down the line and not realizing it until later.
