Reader tip alert! This Saturday, the brand-new Old School Frozen Custard at 1316 E. Pike St. is celebrating with a custard free-for-all. Free cones for everyone on Saturday, June 6, from 3 to 10 pm!
I've never had frozen custard, but devotees claim it is the bee's knees and even better than plain ol' ice cream, so I guess I'll have to try it myself. Even better, the weather is supposed to be cold and crappy tomorrow, which should cut down on the long line of hot, sweaty hipsters.
